Drawing from his extensive experience, Jamie works closely with business owners and leadership teams to create insurance strategies that protect and grow their businesses. He utilizes his experience in insurance and law to ensure that his clients’ insurance and risk reduction strategies work in tandem with their business plans and contractual obligations. Additionally, he utilizes proven workers’ compensation strategies that decrease premiums by lowering experience mods, fixing audits, and returning injured employees to work – all with the goal of driving down costs and supporting operational success.
Born and raised in Sarasota, FL, Jamie is a proud graduate of Sarasota High School in 1987. He went on to earn his BA in Political Science from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC, in 1991. Following graduation, he began a long tenure of service in the United States Marine Corps, serving in both active and reserve duty roles until 2006, including a deployment to Iraq from 2003-2004 as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Getting to Know His Personal Side
Jamie has been happily married to his wife, Ashley, for two years. Together, they share a vibrant family life with six children and three grandchildren. They have a lively home with several dogs and several cats.
One of his greatest passions is coaching football—a role he’s taken on for nearly three decades. Jamie has coached teams ranging from 1st grade flag football to high school programs, making a lasting impact on young athletes. When he’s not on the sidelines or assisting clients, he enjoys traveling with Ashley and exploring new places.
