The founder of our company, Wilbur Boyd, was a visionary and a “serial entrepreneur.” Our roots in Manatee County date back to 1974 when he founded Boyd Insurance & Investments. He loved starting new businesses and saw opportunities others may not have seen. Recognizing the importance of exceptional customer service and quality, he laid the foundation for our success. Our family has always tried to give back and loved giving others opportunities as well. Joined by Jim Boyd and Pat Osburn, the family business thrived and continues to flourish. Today, as our company President & CEO, Austin Boyd represents the third generation, carrying forward our legacy into the future.
